Escalation league launch Sept 10 & 24 -EARLY WAR NORTH AFRICA

Early War Escalation League North Africa
Any List from Hellfire and Back
First meetup for painting and list building:
September 10th & 24th at 1pm till ???
First Gaming Saturday:
October 8th at 12;30pm till ???
We will start at 600pts, and escalate to 950, 1250, 1500, and 1750.
At 600 pts and 950 pts HQ and one combat platoon required.
Game days will be 2nd & last Sat of the month and week days every Thursday!

600 pt dates: Sept & Oct
950 pt dates:Nov
1250 pt dates:Dec.

1750 pt dates; Feb.
Scoring:
3 points for win and fully painted army or 2 points win!
2 points loss with fully painted army or 1 point loss!
Players may switch Company lists at the escalation league intervals, but must stick with company type for each round.
Games must be played at Adler Hoby, results emailed to adlerhobby@yahoo.com and recorded in store.
2 games per 2 weeks count for league standings, but play as many as you wish.
Games do not have to occur on the game Saturday but everyone is encouraged to attend. Games played later in the week count towards the previous weeks points. Example: I play one game saturday the 8th of october, and then my second game wednesday october 15th. Both count towards the two game max for first 2 weeks of the month.
For any 2 week period the two matches must be against different opponents.
From 1250 pts on, normal list rules will apply to mandatory options. IE 2 combat platoons.

Monthly Awards

Most gaming points per month = Blister (12.50)

One random Draw per month = One blister pack (12.50)

Best Sportsman Award = One Blister up to (17.50)

Your vote decides. You play two players vote for one!

1250 points fully painted w/ two finished objectives themed for H&B = blister

Jan. Awards

Best scenic basing for a completed 1500-point force $35.00 box set.

Feb Awards;

Two Different nations fully painted with Objectives = $50.00 box set.

Each army is min. 1500 points and from H&B book.

League Game days

Second and Last sat of the Month 1pm till ???

Thursdays 4pm till 11pm

Special AWARD

Recruitment drive award = get any new recruit to join the league and buy 1250 points of H&B forces from Adler Hobby and get a $35.00 box set.

1pm to 5pm every last sat of the month. We have gaming but also FOCUS on painting and Modeling in store a "sewing bee" for gamers if you will. Your invited to bring ANYTHING to paint and model we have a few supplies on hand, water basins and a few brushes you just bring your fav colors of paint, some glue and your models you'd be surprised how much gets done sitting at a table with others doing the same thing and sometimes we also learn from each other while we paint chat and crack a few jokes...good times, all you need to do if show up for 1pm.

NORTH AFRICA FOW League

A short mini Flames of War league is starting needing just 850 and just One HQ and troop choice allows folks to jumb in fast and play in this fun league with a focus on tobruk and team games with randon reinforcments. We prep in May 2011 and start in June 2011 its only 6 to 8 weeks long and space is limited contact us for more info...

We meet on the 2nd and last Sat and weekly on Thursdays.... Join us then!

Adler Hobby Does Mail Order ? YES!

Adler Hobby is a mom and pop brick and mortar store, we have a basic web site which is not a online ordering type store, the intent is you go to the website find out our email and drop us a line to find out what we have . I know thats old school but its what we have time for. We manage( run events) a lot of games in house Flames Of War ,Malifaux, and At-43 to name a few,so we are pretty busy and we also do events at local gaming conventions (Total Con & Huzzah ), We get our prize support direct from the game makers and it shows in the happy faces at our events.

Bottom line is we do things old school hands on not much time to run a online retail store, so when you shop with us your helping a real store who contributes to growing and promoting the real gaming community full of real people. Our yahoo group NEAT-43 & Flames of War New Englang Yahoo group is a reflection of our hands on approach to the gaming community and helping you the gamer!

After you spend your money with us we still want to hang and game with you!
